Do you repair systems you didn't install?

Yes — it is a big part of what we do. Broken heads, cut wire from a fence post or a landscaper's shovel, valves that will not close, transformers that quit, controllers that were never programmed properly. We will find the fault and tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing or replacing.

What does a new irrigation system cost?

It depends on lot size, the number of zones, your water source and how much of the yard is beds versus turf. Anyone who quotes you a price over the phone without seeing the property is guessing. We walk it, count the zones and give you a written number. The estimate is free.

Do I need a backflow preventer?

If you are a Charleston Water System customer with an in-ground irrigation system, yes. CWS requires a backflow prevention assembly, it must be inspected after installation, and it has to be tested every year by a tester on their approved list. We install to their specification and walk you through the inspection and annual testing.

Isn't landscape lighting a maintenance headache?

Only when it is built cheaply. Low-voltage LED fixtures draw very little power and last for years; the failure points are almost always undersized wire, connections that were not waterproofed, and plastic fixtures on a salt-air property. We use brass and copper near the water and seal every connection, so the system is something you look at rather than something you fuss with.

How long does the work take?

Most residential irrigation installs run one to two days. Most lighting installs are a single day, with the aiming done after dark that evening. Larger properties or combined irrigation-and-lighting projects take longer — you get the schedule with the estimate, not after we start.

Can you work with my landscaper or builder?

Absolutely. We regularly coordinate with landscape crews, hardscape contractors and builders so that irrigation and lighting go in at the right point in the sequence — before the sod and the mulch, not after.

Do you handle commercial or HOA properties?

Yes, at a scale that suits a small company — office parks, small commercial frontage, amenity areas and common ground. If it's a job that really needs a large crew, we'll say so rather than stretch.

What areas do you cover?

Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, James and Johns Island, West Ashley, Kiawah, Seabrook, Folly Beach, North Charleston, Summerville and the rest of the tri-county area. Full list here.
