New system design & installation
We measure pressure and flow before we draw a single zone, so the system that goes in is the system your water supply can actually run. Head-to-head coverage, turf and beds on separate zones, and a controller you can understand.
Repairs & troubleshooting
Broken heads, wire cut by a fence post or a landscaper's shovel, valves that won't close, solenoids that have failed, controllers that were never programmed. We find the fault and tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing or replacing.
Zone tuning & coverage audits
Most "my grass is dying" calls are a coverage problem, not a watering-time problem. We run every zone, catch the dry arcs and the sidewalk-soakers, and adjust arcs, nozzles and spacing until it's even.
Smart controllers & rain sensors
Wi-Fi controllers that pull local weather and skip a cycle when it has already rained, plus rain and freeze sensors. Less water, lower bill, and no more sprinklers running in a thunderstorm.

Backflow prevention
Charleston Water System requires a backflow preventer on in-ground irrigation, inspected after installation and tested every year. We install to their specification and walk you through the inspection and annual testing.

Spring start-up, mid-season checks as the landscape fills in, and winterizing before the first hard freeze. Cheap insurance against a cracked backflow or a split lateral.
Yard drainage
French drains, downspout tie-ins, catch basins and regrading for the low corner that stays soggy for three days after a storm. High water table and heavy clay pockets are normal here — they're solvable.

What does a new irrigation system cost?
It depends on lot size, the number of zones, your water source and how much of the yard is beds versus turf. Anyone who quotes you a price over the phone without seeing the property is guessing. We walk it, count the zones and give you a written number. The estimate is free.
Do I need a backflow preventer?
If you are a Charleston Water System customer with an in-ground irrigation system, yes. CWS requires a backflow prevention assembly, it must be inspected after installation, and it has to be tested every year by a tester on their approved list. We install to their specification and walk you through the inspection and annual testing.
Do you repair systems you didn't install?
Yes — it's a big part of what we do. We'll find the fault and tell you honestly whether it's worth repairing or replacing.
